Job Summary
Resident Assistant provides assistive care and support to residents under supervision, encouraging independence, guiding and assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and performing tasks to support residents' personal and medical care, activities, and housekeeping/laundry as scheduled. Roles include interacting with residents to maintain a home-like environment and following each resident's Individual Service Plan (ISP). Shifts include 1st 6:00am-2:00pm, 2nd 2:00pm-10:00pm, and 3rd 10:00pm-6:00am. Required Qualifications
- Must be18 years of age
- Speaks and understands the English language, with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds consistently, occasionally lift over 50 pounds and to spend long periods of time on his/her feet.
- Must pass a background check
- Must have a teamwork attitude.
