Job Summary
Conduct daily activities of daily living, vital signs checks, and simple treatments while escorting residents to dining and encouraging independence. Manage shift reports, ADL binders, and shower schedules; document all care given per community policies. Provide laundry, housekeeping, and infection control services including proper linen and equipment handling. Monitor resident physical and mental status changes, report deficiencies in apartments or supplies, and ensure fire safety and alarm coverage. Relieve at the front desk for call systems and clerical support as assigned. Maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors while wearing a name tag at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Keep all required licensure in good standing at all times.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50lbs.
- Ability to bend, squat, and climb stairs.
- Ability to continuously walk or stand.
- Is thoroughly familiar with fire, missing persons and other emergency procedures
- Follows community policy and procedures detailed in fire and disaster plans.
