Resident Assistant (RA)

Provide personal care (manicures, bathing, dressing) and daily orientation to residents; facilitate activity groups, serve meals/snacks, and maintain a clean kitchen/dining area. Report progress/changes on shift, assist with medications as indicated with charting and health monitoring (blood pressures, weights, temperatures); communicate with residents, families, pharmacists, and facility staff; arrange for transfers to medical facilities when needed; handle confidential information/records; project a positive image of the organization; document cares/needs; use the appropriate lift per care plans; perform additional duties as assigned.
