Job Summary
The Resident Assistant (RA) position offers a unique opportunity to foster community growth among residents while upholding university policies and standards. RAs will engage with residents designed to support their academic, spiritual, and social development. Responsibilities include facilitating community events, conducting resident checks, maintaining paperwork, and collaborating with Residence Hall Directors and fellow RAs effectively. Candidates must have a minimum 2.75 GPA and previous campus residency experience to qualify for this pivotal role.
Required Qualifications
- minimum 2.75 GPA upon application
- not on any type of official probation
- have lived on campus at Lipscomb University for at least one semester
- be able to devote up to 15 hours per week to the Resident Assistant job
- have at least two free nights Monday - Friday
- be available and on campus most weekends
