Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, toileting, and grooming per care plans. Administer medications accurately according to physician orders while maintaining proper documentation. Monitor vital signs, report concerns to nursing staff, and respond promptly to resident needs. Treat residents with dignity, respect, and kindness while fostering a clean, safe environment. Support community life by engaging in activities and maintaining a positive team atmosphere. This part-time role requires consistent availability for float shifts with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $19.30 to $21.30. Current QMAP, First Aid, and BLS certification is required, with one year of personal care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current QMAP certification
- First Aid certification
- Basic Life Support certification
- AED certification
- Consistent availability for the Float Shifts schedule
- Ability to act independently in routine and emergency situations
- Demonstrated computer competency
- Up-to-date annual Influenza (Flu) vaccine
- TB test
- Drug Screen
- Background Check
