Job Summary
Provide basic care to residents and assist them in daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social-recreational activities, and meal services. Collaborate with the nursing department, medical professionals, and families to support residents in attaining or maintaining physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being. Maintain CPR/First Aid certification and possess knowledge of Alzheimer's Disease and related memory impairments. Work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis across days, evenings, nights, or rotating shifts. Full-time, part-time, or PRN hours available.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant dependent upon state regulations
- Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations
- Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred
- Knowledge of Alzheimer's Disease, other dementias and related memory impairments is preferred
