Resident Assistant

Assist residents with daily living activities including grooming, eating, dressing, bathing, and toileting. Guide residents through range of motion exercises, ambulation, and positioning to increase quality of living. Prepare and maintain records documenting client progress and report changes in condition to supervisors. Maintain a safe and clean environment by changing linens, cleaning rooms and dining areas, and emptying waste baskets. Perform healthcare-related tasks such as monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and collecting specimens under nurse direction. Serve prepared food and guide residents with eating techniques. Attend meetings and training opportunities to stay informed on current information and skill development. Follow established policies and procedures including Presbyterian Villages, safety, and federal regulations.
