Job Summary
As a Resident Assistant at Vivie, you will provide exceptional care and support to residents by assisting with daily activities and fostering a positive environment. Key responsibilities include helping residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, supporting meal preparation, engaging residents in social activities, and maintaining a clean living space. The role requires strong collaboration, critical thinking skills, and a commitment to serving residents with excellence. Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not essential.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass a state-required background study.
- Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required.
- Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living)
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Clear and compassionate communication abilities.
