Job Summary
Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide provides quality daily living assistance to residents, assists with activities of daily living, performs housekeeping, responds to calls and emergencies, assists with move-in transition, communicates resident status in writing and verbally, and coordinates with the nursing team. Requires High School Diploma or GED and completion of an approved personal care aide program; CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days); ability to lift 50 lbs and push/carry 25 lbs; able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; maintains confidentiality and follows policies; participates in activity planning and supports resident well-being.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- approved personal care aide program per state regulations
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days
- ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- physical ability to lift 50 lbs and push/carry 25 lbs
- ability to walk/stand for extended periods
- ability to represent the community professionally
- ability to attend mandatory trainings and flexible scheduling including weekends/holidays
