Job Summary
Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules while assisting with daily living activities like grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. Monitor resident health and well-being, promptly reporting changes to healthcare professionals and family members. Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and care activities to ensure regulatory compliance. This part-time role operates the 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) at WesleyLife's community in Washington, IA, offering shift differentials and a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, and 401(k). Candidates must have at least one year of assisted living or LTC experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- 1 year of previous Assisted Living or LTC experience
- Must be available for 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm)
- Must be able to administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules
- Must be able to assist residents with daily living activities, including grooming, dressing, and meal preparation
- Must be able to monitor residents' health and well-being
- Must be able to maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care activities
- Must be able to complete a pre-hire health assessment
- Must be able to pass a 4 panel drug screen
