Job Summary
Provide personal care and related services to residents per individualized service plan under the supervision of the Healthcare Coordinator. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, nutrition, ambulation, transfers, positioning, and medication reminders; obtain and record vital signs; follow ISPs and report deviations to supervising nurse; communicate resident status changes; maintain infection control and HIPAA compliance; document progress, participate in biweekly trainings, and support resident engagement. Requires ability to work with multidisciplinary team; CPR within 90 days; high school diploma or GED; six months caregiving experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum six months caregiving experience, preferably with elderly residents
- Completion of required medication management course
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
