Job Summary
Resident Assistant-Household Assistant provides ADL care (teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence, dressing), assists with transfers and ambulation, helps with meals and cooking, and performs housekeeping and laundry. Roles include observing changes and reporting to the nurse, responding quickly to emergencies, and delivering compassionate, quality care across independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, rehab, memory support, respite, and hospice settings. Shifts are PRN with 12-hour and 8-hour options, and pay ranges from $17.00/hour on weekdays to $19.00/hour on weekends. Location-specific duties vary by site.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- CPR / First Aid Course desired
- Preferred experience: Previous experience working with elders
- Cooking for a family or group of diners (not necessary to be a licensed cook)
- Light housekeeping and laundry skills
