Job Summary
Resident Assistant/PCA provides quality care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), housekeeping duties in resident areas, responding promptly to calls and emergencies, and supporting move-in transitions and activity programs. Requires completion of a PCA program and High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days), ability to lift 50 lbs, and a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire
- ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- ability to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs
- ability to safely lift and transfer residents
- effective verbal and written communication
- organization and teamwork with nursing staff
