Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene as directed by individual service plans. Monitor changes in residents' status and personal care needs, documenting observations and advising supervisors or clinical associates. Encourage resident participation in scheduled life enrichment activities and assist with laundry and light housekeeping tasks. Maintain a safe, clean, and attractive community environment. Develop and update Resident Care Plans while ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations. Participate in all in-service training and education programs. Requires an active Certified Nursing Assistant license (preferred), ability to lift 50 pounds, and occasional weekend, evening, or night work.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma
- GED
- Can follow written or verbal instructions
- Ability to read and comprehend resident care plans
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to residents, residents' families, and other associates of the company
- Uses good judgment in emergency situations and gets help when needed
- Occasional weekend, evening or night work if needed to ensure shift coverage
- 100% time spent on site in community setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
