Job Summary
The Resident Assistant provides personal care and delegated health-related services to support residents' physical and emotional well-being, following individualized care plans. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, ambulation, transferring), medication administration under RN delegation, observing and documenting changes in residents' conditions, and promoting independence through self-help skills. The role requires effective communication, adherence to facility safety policies, and support of the clinical team.
Required Qualifications
- 17 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
- Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or Higher
- Previous experience with working with seniors
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and/or Home Health Aide
