Job Summary
As a Resident Assistant, you will assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility. You will support residents during meals and promote engagement in social and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life. You will help maintain a clean environment and monitor any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being, reporting to nursing staff. Key required skills include strong teamwork, clear communication, and a commitment to serving with excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass a state-required background study.
- Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required.
- Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living)
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Clear and compassionate communication abilities
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal effectiveness.
