Job Summary
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living as indicated on individualized service agreements while helping each person reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence. Provide both physical and emotional support, including interactions that offer reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate. Complete all required daily documentation, service schedules, flow sheets, and communication books. Observe clients to report changes in physical or emotional condition, such as attitude shifts, appetite loss, or weight changes, to the case manager. Assist with treatments delegated by the Registered Nurse and participate in dining room activities and outings. Flexible hours apply with a pay range of $17.00 to $24.00 in Hayden Grove, Bloomington.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interests
Desired Qualifications
- Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred)
- Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
