Job Summary
Resident Assistant provides personal care and related services to residents according to individualized service and care plans under the direction of the Healthcare Coordinator. Responsibilities include obtaining and recording vital signs, assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, nutrition, ambulation, transfers, positioning, and medication reminders; following ISPs and daily task sheets; reporting resident status changes; maintaining infection control and HIPAA compliance; documenting progress; encouraging resident engagement; attending biweekly trainings; and performing additional duties as assigned. Requires high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience); minimum six months caregiving experience (preferably with elderly residents); completion of required medication management course; CPR certification within 90 days of hire; ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Required Qualifications
