Job Summary
Resident Assistant/Care Aide delivers quality assisted living services to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (dressing, toileting, bathing), meal support, mobility assistance, and participation in activities while adhering to care plans and infection control guidelines. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, may require State Trained Nursing Assistant certification, CNA or Home Health Aide certification, and CPR certification. Responsibilities include monitoring resident conditions, documenting changes, providing compassionate support, maintaining confidentiality, assisting with meals and activities, housekeeping tasks in resident areas, and ensuring a safe, respectful environment under Century Park standards. Must be patient, cheerful, able to work with minimal supervision, and committed to residents’ well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year experience in senior services preferred
- Must have State Trained Nursing Assistant certification (if required by State)
- CNA certification or Home Health Aide certification preferred
- Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtain during Orientation. Certification must remain current during employment.
