Job Summary

Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, toileting, hair care, and bathing while ensuring they remain clean and dry. Perform routine rounds to check care needs, read the 24-hour log at shift start, and support ambulation with walkers or wheelchairs. Prepare residents for meals, activities, and appointments, delivering food and assisting with setup or feeding as needed. Maintain clean apartments and common areas by making beds, performing light housekeeping, and managing laundry for incontinent residents. Verify resident attendance at meals and report any changes in conditions to the Nurse, Resident Care Director, or Executive Director. Welcome new residents, assist with community adjustment, and help with packing or storing belongings during moves.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • State Trained Nursing Assistant certification (if required by State)
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during Orientation
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Efficiency and effectiveness with little to no supervision
  • Professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
  • Confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
  • Integrity and professionalism by adhering to Century Park's Code of Ethics
  • Completion of all required compliance training

Desired Qualifications

  • One (1) year experience in senior services
  • CNA certification
  • Home Health Aide certification
  • Enjoy serving seniors
  • Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
  • Willingness to handle difficult residents
