Job Summary
Resident Assistants/Caregivers provide direct care to residents in CBRF/RCAC settings, assisting with Activities of Daily Living per the Individual Service Plan, and helping create a home-like environment that supports residents’ independence. Responsibilities include helping with personal care (hygiene, toileting, showers), monitoring and documenting vital signs and medication administration under supervision, communicating with residents, families and health team members, supervising or assisting with medications, and coordinating with the ISP. The role supports leisure activities, restorative activity, ambulation, and range of motion as instructed by management, while maintaining confidentiality and a safe, clean environment. Training and certifications in Standard Precautions, First Aid/Choking, Fire Safety, and Medication/Diabetic care are required, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement, healthcare benefits, a 401k match, and other Employee Benefits. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Certification in Standard Precautions
- Certification in First Aid and Choking
- Certification in Fire Safety Training
- Medication, and Diabetic certification
- Previous experience working directly with the elderly preferred but not required
- Must have transportation to and from the facility
