Job Summary
Conduct daily personal care for residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Support patients with feeding and nutritional intake while performing light tasks related to ambulation, repositioning, and safety. Take vitals, monitor basic health indicators, and report changes in condition to the care team. Observe patients and notify appropriate staff of any care or behavioral concerns. This role offers flexible scheduling for per diem, contract, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire assignments at local assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehab facilities. CPR certification and required compliance training are available, with opportunities for CEUs and tuition discounts through Rasmussen University.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Required compliance training to work in long-term care and assisted living
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and support patients safely
- Good communication skills
