Job Summary
Support the Nursing Department and staff by making residents' beds, labeling clothing and belongings, and distributing personal and facility laundry. Pass meal trays, offer basic tray setup, and assist with feeding if competency is demonstrated. Serve food and bus dishes in the dining room while transporting or escorting residents to areas such as dining rooms, activities, and care conferences. Communicate effectively with residents and family members while learning infection control techniques. Maintain a patient and polite demeanor throughout all duties.
