Resident Aide

The Non-Certified Nurse Aide provides support and assistance to the Nursing Department and staff. Core duties include making residents’ beds, labeling resident clothing and belongings, passing meal trays and offering basic tray setup (may assist with feeding if competency demonstrated), serving food and bussing dishes in the dining room, and transporting/escorting residents to areas within the facility. Additional tasks as assigned. Must communicate effectively with residents and families and be able to learn infection control techniques; require patience and a polite demeanor. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Location: MediLodge of Okemos, Okemos, MI.
