Job Summary
Resident Aide provides support to the Nursing Department and staff. Responsibilities include making residents’ beds, labeling and handling resident clothing, distributing laundry, passing meals, assisting with feeding if competent, serving meals, transporting/escorting residents within the facility to areas such as dining and activities, and performing other tasks as assigned. Skills/abilities include effective communication with residents and families, infection-control techniques, and patience. Required Qualifications
