Job Summary
Enforce housing policies, respond to emergency situations, and mediate roommate conflicts to maintain a secure living environment. Conduct room checks, submit maintenance requests, and assist in opening and closing residence halls. Collaborate with staff, participate in bi-weekly meetings, and develop programs supporting resident growth. Serve in an on-call and duty rotation, including winter and holiday breaks. This live-in position requires residing in the residence hall for the academic year. Attend mandatory professional development prior to Fall and Spring semesters. Meet weekly with a Housing and Residence Life designee.
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the university
- Maintain a GPA of at least 2.50
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed
- This is a live-in position, and the RA will be required to reside in the residence hall for the academic year
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in community development, conflict resolution, or a related field is preferred
