Job Summary
Provide quality supervision to assigned clients during evening, overnight, and weekend shifts by being on-site, engaging clients, and planning activities. Oversee site maintenance and cleanliness in compliance with program, county, state, and federal regulations, including timely submission of follow-up paperwork. Successfully engage clients in implementing their individual plans using positive youth development and trauma-informed frameworks. Address and report any crises or critical incidents according to agency protocols and complete preliminary safety plans. Attend external and internal agency trainings and complete all required annual training hours. Maintain a valid driver's license with vehicle insurance for daily work and client transportation, ensuring passing scores on annual motor vehicle clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license including vehicle insurance and inspection on any vehicle used for daily work and transportation of clients
- Ability to receive a passing score on annual motor vehicle clearance
- Sound judgment and knowledge of adolescent development and behavior
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments
- Creative thinking and flexibility in approaches to people and projects
- Capability to work with diverse groups of the population
- Never have been convicted of any prohibited criminal or child abuse offense
Desired Qualifications
- One-year of experience working with adolescents
- Lived experience
- Ability to navigate stairs
- Familiarity with the Google Suite
- Ability to identify with and adapt to the goals and philosophies of the independent living program
