Job Summary

Provide individual and group supervision to assigned residents, reviewing clinical documentation and offering feedback to ensure quality care. Mentor residents through licensure requirements and professional development while leading training, case discussions, and clinical rounds. Deliver licensure supervision within the ncgCARE Residency Program structure, ensuring competency-based training adheres to all professional board requirements. Conduct weekly supervision sessions in person to support residents applying clinical skills and ethical practice in real-world settings.

Required Qualifications

  • Board eligible to provide licensure supervision for supervisees in Social Work in North Carolina
  • Hold an active, unrestricted LCSW license in North Carolina
  • Have a minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in direct practice
  • Have Board-approved supervision training as required by the NC Social Work Certification and Licensure Board
  • Provide supervision in person
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in a clinical supervision role
  • Knowledge of Ethical and Legal practices
  • Knowledge of informed consent
  • Knowledge of the impact of behavioral health diagnosis
  • Knowledge of clinical service definitions and requirements
  • Knowledge of client welfare
  • Knowledge of clinician development
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed service delivery
  • Knowledge of cultural humility
  • Knowledge of appropriate supervisory modalities
  • At least 1-year experience in providing supervision for provisionally licensed staff in counseling and/or social work
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
