Job Summary
Lead the creation and implementation of a year-long teacher residency program in partnership with school districts across New Mexico, to recruit, train, and retain teachers. Coordinate professional development and coaching for program participants, ensuring culturally sensitive instructional practice and community-based engagement. Manage program evaluations, participate in data analysis, and assist in reporting outcomes. Build and maintain a strong university-district-agency partnership, navigate grant requirements, and support curricular design and delivery for diverse K-12 settings, with emphasis on serving Native American and English Learner students. Maintain strong organizational skills, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and adapt to evolving grant-driven responsibilities while communicating effectively with internal and external partners.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in education
- NMPED level 3 teacher license
- TESOL and/or bilingual endorsement
- New Mexico teaching certification
- background check must pass
