Job Summary
The Residency Program Coordinator manages day-to-day operations of the Family Medicine Residency Program, ensuring program goals and educational objectives are met. This role includes overseeing residency policies and compliance with ACGME standards, managing resident schedules, recruitment processes, and curriculum support. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational expertise, and a deep working knowledge of graduate medical education, along with the ability to handle multiple priorities and complex problems. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of administrative experience, ideally within graduate medical education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience in graduate medical education preferred
- Detailed knowledge of ACGME accreditation standards and processes
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Understanding of human resources processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
Desired Qualifications
- C-TAGME certification preferred
- Education/training in graduate medical education
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment
