Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of an assigned residence in Rochester, NY, supervising direct support staff, coordinating and ensuring implementation of individualized service plans, mentoring staff to provide compassionate, person-centered care, and ensuring regulatory compliance (OPWDD competencies such as SCIP and PROMOTE). Provide hands-on support as needed, including occasional lifting up to 35 pounds, and coordinate coverage as needed across different residential locations. Requires an Associate’s Degree with 3 years of experience (or a Bachelor’s with 1 year, or 5 years of relevant experience including supervisory work); valid NYS driver’s license; strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage teams and deliver high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Associate’s Degree + 3 years experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree + 1 year experience, OR 5 years relevant experience
- Experience: Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to manage teams and ensure quality care
- Requirements: Valid NYS driver’s license
- Physical ability to assist with lifting up to 35 pounds
