Job Summary
Residence Life Coordinator oversees staff supervision and development of student staff, delivers student development and residential curriculum initiatives, and manages crisis response and collaboration with campus partners. The role requires residence on campus (university-owned apartment provided) and on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 response, with budget oversight (~$10,000) and supervision of Resident Advisors. Key duties include advising on student issues, implementing training, mediating conflicts, coordinating with Counseling Center, Health Services, Campus Safety, and other partners, adjudicating low-level conduct violations, and administering the eRezLife software. A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree in Student Development, Higher Education, or related field is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, with a focus in Education, Psychology or related field
- Master's degree in Student Development, Higher Education, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with a housing department and residence halls and how they operate is preferred
- Ability to reside on campus and participate in 24/7 on-call response as essential personnel
