Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, transfers, and self-administration of medications. Support meal service, cleaning, laundry, and social events while interacting with residents and visitors courteously. Record and report changes in a client's physical condition, behavior, or appearance to the supervisor. Access the entire Kenton Pointe campus independently to help residents at any location and respond rapidly during emergencies. Lift at least 50 pounds using proper body mechanics. Shift times vary based on staffing needs across days, nights, and weekends. Prior caregiving experience is preferred, though training will be provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to access entire Kenton Pointe campus independently
- Must be able to help residents at any location
- Must be able to respond rapidly in an emergency
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds using proper body mechanics
- Must demonstrate effective communication skills with team members, residents, and family members
- Must have ability to accept supervision and follow instructions independently
- Must possess diplomacy and be able to get along with others
Desired Qualifications
- Prior caregiving experience
- At least one year of experience in a caregiving role
