Job Summary
Provide administrative support across offender management and resettlement activities, ensuring processes are completed accurately and on time. Maintain confidential prisoner records, databases, trackers, and electronic filing systems to a high standard of accuracy. Support sentence management processes, including sentence calculations following completion of relevant training and accreditation. Coordinate release planning activities, meetings, referrals, and documentation to support successful resettlement outcomes. Liaise with Prison Offender Managers, Probation Practitioners, community partners, courts, and other external agencies to support operational requirements. Monitor shared mailboxes, produce management information, and support audits and compliance activities across the department. Full time 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in an administrative role within a busy office environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trusted working relationships
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- GCSEs in English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information appropriately
- An Enhanced DBS check
- Completion of an Occupational Health Questionnaire
