Job Summary
Reset merchandiser responsible for completing weekly plan-o-gram resets in a Kroger store environment. Read and understand plan-o-grams, collect new item tags and prepare the work area to complete section resets. Break down sections in an orderly manner to allow customers to shop other sections, reposition shelving and place product according to updated schematics, clean up the work area, and report completion to Kroger and supervisors. Work independently with minimal supervision, maintain professional interactions with customers, and comply with safety and clocking-in/out guidelines. May be required to support store needs during holidays or urgent customer support periods. Must perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation and be able to lift 50 lbs. to 70 lbs., stand for several hours, and tolerate temperature variations. Previous retail store experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read plan-o-grams
- Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English
- A smartphone with internet/data access
- Must be able to provide personal tape measure and safety gloves
