Job Summary
Reset Merchandiser responsible for completing plan-o-gram based section resets in a Kroger grocery environment. duties include reading and understanding plan-o-grams, collecting plan-o-grams and new item tags, preparing work area, reorganizing sections to align with updated schematics, re-positioning shelving and products, maintaining a clean work area, reporting completion to Kroger and supervisors, and interacting professionally with customers. Must work with minimal supervision, adhere to KOMPASS guidelines, and be prepared for variable hours including periods of reduced scheduling. Requires strong adaptability, customer service, teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 70 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read and understand plan-o-grams
- Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English
- A smartphone with internet/data access is required
- App permissions such as enabling location services, camera, and photo gallery access may be required
- Must be able to provide personal tape measure and safety gloves to perform essential job functions
- Must be able to remain standing for several hours at a time
- Must be able to lift, push or pull 50 lbs. or more on a regular basis and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
