Job Summary
Reset Merchandiser responsible for completing weekly section plan-o-gram work in a Kroger grocery environment. Read and understand plan-o-grams, collect new item tags, and prepare the work area to complete section resets. Break down sections for customer accessibility, reposition shelving according to updated schematics, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Report completion to Kroger and supervisors. Work independently with minimal supervision; maintain professional relationships with store staff and management. May be required to work periods with reduced hours and provide additional store support as needed. Requires reading/writing English, aging in on safety protocols, the ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs, and use of a smartphone app for position requirements. Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED and being 18+. Experience in retail merchandising is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read and understand plan-o-grams
- Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in the English language
- A smartphone with internet/data access is required. This position may require installation and utilization of an app on your smartphone to complete the requirements of the position.
- Must be able to provide personal tape measure and safety gloves to perform essential job functions
