Job Summary
Reservoir Engineer role focused on performing reservoir modeling and simulation to support conventional and deepwater developments, depletion planning and field development planning, reserves assessment, and identification of production or injection optimization opportunities. Responsibilities include building and updating reservoir models, conducting history matching, planning appraisal and field development/drill programs, and mitigating reservoir uncertainties. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical) with 1-3 years of industry experience and experience with INTERSECT or Eclipse reservoir simulation; role involves collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in asset development and production optimization across conventional oil & gas projects. This position is located at ExxonMobil’s Spring, Texas campus and may include both contractor and full-time employment options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
- Minimum 1-3 years of industry experience in Conventional Reservoir Engineering
- Reservoir simulation experience (INTERSECT / Eclipse)
- Self-motivated, teamwork and strong communication skills
