Job Summary
Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other operational transactions while servicing multiple branch locations. Balance daily transactions, secure assigned cash and documentation, and rotate job assignments consistently. Examine checks for negotiability, verify account information and fund availability, and enter customer transactions into computers to issue receipts. Identify fraud or suspected elder abuse, notify management, and promote consumer products or services. Count currency and checks, maintain accurate transactional journals, and balance cash drawers at shift end. Comply with federal, state, and internal regulations including BSA, anti-money laundering, and security guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Clear understanding of the English Language (Spoken & Written)
- Basic Mathematics Skills
- Customer Service Skills
- Critical Thinking, Judgment & Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to actively listen & learn
- Ability to use oral communication techniques to sell products or services
- Ability to respectfully communicate with Supervisors and Co-workers
- Ability to effectively deal with unpleasant, angry, or discourteous people
- Professional business attire
- Must travel to various bank locations
- Some Saturday hours are required
