Job Summary
Answer incoming calls in less than three rings following resort quality standards to achieve a 90% or higher sales score, convert callers to bookings, and generate revenue including ancillary offers. Process internal requests, input reservations and revisions from direct bookings, SynXis, and third-party sites into the property management system, and provide notes regarding guest special needs. Conduct pre-arrival calls, outbound calls to past guests, and weekly "call arounds" to competitive hotels for rate positioning. Resolve guest complaints related to room and billing, collect payments, and serve as backup to the front desk and call center when needed. Achieve a monthly team conversion rate of 50% or higher while maintaining relationships with travel agents and repeat guests.
Required Qualifications
- Speak English clearly with poise and confidence using correct English and a well-modulated voice
- Listen carefully and be able to read and understand instructions, safety rules, etc
- Write professionally with correct grammar and punctuation to correspond with clients and colleagues
- Adequately position Terranea Resort to sell rooms and amenities
- Use personal judgment and specialize knowledge to give information to people
- Analyze and interpret established policies
- Change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
- Accept full responsibility for managing an activity
- Able to type 35 w.p.m
- Prior customer service experience
- High School Diploma or GED
