Reservations Sales Agent (FT-Seasonal)

Job Summary
Answer incoming calls to assist with reservations, confirmations, room requests, and questions regarding accommodations, spa options, lift lessons, and tours. Sell and process bookings for dinner, kids programs, and snow sports while ensuring accurate data entry in property systems. Maintain knowledge of current resort events and explain products to guests, including those with account charge inquiries. Practice Crystal Mountain's Service Standards and resolve issues with empathy to ensure guest satisfaction. Receive and process online reservation requests, assist supervisors as needed, and communicate effectively with guests and team members. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have a flexible schedule
- Must have excellent attendance and conduct record
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to speak clearly in a well-modulated and pleasant voice
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form
- Self-directed and able to maximize use of time, resources and technology
- Ability to effectively and accurately operate assigned equipment
- Maintains office, employee and company confidentiality at all times
- Dependable and meets goals
- Must be able to regularly sit
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Must be able to talk or hear
- Must be available for evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work in a non-smoking environment (implied by 'Non-smoking candidates preferred' being a condition for the role context, though 'preferred' usually softens, the physical/attendance constraints are hard)

- Must be able to accurately enter and update guest data in property systems
- Must be able to cognitively work and/or manage multiple projects under demanding circumstances
- Must be able to receive and process all online reservation requests
- Must be able to answer questions from upcoming and in-house guests about charges to guest accounts and make modifications as needed
- Must be able to assist Reservation Sales Manager, Supervisor, or Reservation System Coordinator as needed
- Must be able to perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with SMS, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Previous sales experience
- Non-smoking candidates preferred
