Job Summary
Reservations Agent at The Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge responsible for overseeing daily reservations operations, handling inquiries via phone/email/online platforms, processing bookings/amendments/cancellations in the PMS, ensuring complete guest details and payment info, monitoring room availability, maintaining knowledge of rooms/promotions/services, coordinating with Front Office/Revenue/Sales, ensuring GDPR/PCI compliance, and delivering professional customer service. Requires knowledge of Opera Cloud (preferred), strong communication, customer service excellence, attention to detail, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and OTAs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel reservations or front office within the hospitality industry (preferred)
- Knowledge of Opera Cloud (preferred)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Calm, composed, and professional under pressure
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Consistent, reliable, and disciplined in performance and attendance
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Resilient and capable of handling repetitive operational tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel)
- Experience with OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.)
- Excellent grooming standards
