Job Summary
Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail. Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type; verify availability and rate; explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers; accommodate and document special requests; answer questions about facilities/services and room accommodations; follow sales techniques to maximize revenue; input and access data in the reservation system; input correct codes and rate for special reservation types (complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, wholesale reservations); follow escalation procedures for guest concerns; maintain professional appearance and behavior; protect proprietary information, assets, privacy, and security; welcome guests and respond to service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; communicate clearly; develop positive relationships with others; comply with quality assurance standards; perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors; lift/carry objects <= 10 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No related work experience
- No supervisory experience
- None license or certification
