Job Summary
Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail. Verify room availability and rate, explain guarantees and policies to callers, accommodate and document special requests, and answer questions about facilities and accommodations. Use sales techniques to maximize revenue, input and access data in the reservation system, and indicate special reservation types (e.g., employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, wholesale rates) with correct codes. Follow proper escalation procedures and company policies while maintaining confidentiality and professional communication. Assist guests with disabilities, maintain professional appearance, and support team goals. Perform related duties such as lifting up to 10 pounds and other reasonable tasks as assigned by Supervisors.
