Job Summary
Make and modify reservations for Hershey destination guests while providing accurate information on rates, packages, events, and availability. Think analytically to resolve guest opportunities and build rapport to close sales on resorts, spas, and activities. Detail guest reservations accurately and offer recommendations based on client needs. Operate within a fast-paced call center environment requiring high verbal and written communication skills, typing at 32 WPM, and the ability to multi-task under pressure. Work a hybrid schedule of in-office and at-home positions in Pennsylvania, with operational hours from 8 AM to 8:30 PM seven days a week, including weekend and evening shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- high school diploma or equivalent
- clear communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- Ability to identify client needs and concerns over the telephone and offer solutions
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong technical skills including keyboarding skills and PC experience
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, policies, and information
- Operational hours vary from 8 AM - 8:30 PM, seven days a week
- Must be available to work a minimum of 4 weekend days per month
- Must be available to work at least one evening shift per week and some holidays
- Must be able to commit to a 35-hour per week training schedule for two weeks
- Work must be completed within the state of Pennsylvania
- Employees must have a quiet place to conduct work, free from distractions and background noise
