Job Summary
Assist guests during the reservation process and greet callers in a friendly, clear English-speaking manner. Handle inquiries about availability, accommodations, transportation, rates, and policies; input and retrieve data in a computer reservation system using codes; promote HEI Hotels and Resorts and brand programs; verify confirmation numbers and deposits, understand and communicate applicable policies, and negotiate resolutions when needed. Read, retrieve, and verify information; respond to questions about facilities and services; provide directions and local attractions information; adapt communication style for different audiences; and maintain composure when handling complaints. Must have hotel experience; strong communication, computer, and data-entry skills are required to deliver accurate information and exceptional guest service. The role supports regular attendance and may involve other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- Hotel experience preferred
- Ability to use a moderately complex computer system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to input 40 WPM on a keyboard
- Ability to listen to inquiries and provide information
- Familiarity with reservation codes and policies
