Job Summary
Reservation Supervisor responsible for overseeing group reservations and related processes at ibis Styles Dragon Mart Dubai. Duties include processing reservations per policy, liaising with conference/events teams for group room requests, managing cancellations and group billing disputes, ensuring accurate rate loading and contract rates, maintaining arrivals lists and enforcing the Hotel Guarantee Policy, and driving yield through effective rate and occupancy management. Requires minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory hospitality environment, strong Opera system skills, ability to work various shifts, multicultural awareness, excellent communication/negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain service quality. Visa eligibility to live and work in Dubai required; relocation/visa support provided for selected candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar environment, with supervisory experience and qualifications
- Strong computer and systems skills preferably in Opera
- Ability to work a variety of shifts
- Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures
- Time management skills with the ability to independently multitask and demonstrated initiative in a dynamic environment
- An ability to understand and navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship and networking skills
- Strong personal integrity and good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members
- Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change
- Visa requirements: eligible to live and work in Dubai; visa costs and flights covered for selected candidates from place of origin
