Job Summary
Create and modify passenger flight reservations, check fares and rules, and handle check-in duties using the Amelia Reservation system. Answer passenger inquiries via phone and email, assist with re-accommodation due to irregular operations, and trace missing baggage. Support other stations with payments and manifests, and manage staff travel bookings for the Pass Bureau. Work independently or in a team during shift rotations including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requires an Enhanced Security Clearance, own transportation, and strong customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must have exceptional telephone etiquette
- Must be able to work independently or in a team setting
- Must be able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Must have own transportation to and from work
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Enhanced Security Clearance qualification
- Shift work is required
- Shift work may include weekends
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Knowledge of Amelia Reservation system
- Basic Computer skills (word, excel, office)
- Knowledge of an airline's operations
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Preference given to Inuit Land Claims Beneficiaries
- Inuktitut language
