Job Summary
Coordinate homeless services enrollment and referrals for Mercy House programs by screening calls from Outreach partners and PD, vetting clients for felony warrants, and making bed reservations including transportation details. Track and update the Bed Availability Roster while ensuring HMIS intake forms are completed and data quality is managed. Enter all Bed Nights, Case Notes, and Services into the database daily, scan and file intake packets, and create reports from the HMIS. Assist staff in recording services provided, clients served, and program outcomes. Maintain client files and follow up as needed to ensure documents meet agency standards. Attend staff and County CoC meetings as required.
Required Qualifications
- Strong computer, typing, and data processing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet-based browsers
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse population
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish is of significant value
