Job Summary
Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with sustainability goals. Identify emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and market opportunities. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Take ownership in designing, developing, and implementing sustainable solutions. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction. Collaborate with startups, research institutions and industry experts; represent Yokogawa at conferences, workshops, and industry events. Identify and evaluate emerging trends in new energy systems and grid stability technologies; contribute to R&D roadmaps, prototype development and proofs-of-concept, IP creation and patent filing.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
- 5-12 years of experience in end-to-end software development and deployments in Power SCADA / PMS, Power system controls and automation for distributed or utility-scale power systems
- Experience in Renewable energy plants (solar, wind, hybrid systems), Microgrids / DER systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Electric transportation systems, Industrial electrification and energy transition
